Garold married Christina Lockhorst on August 3rd, 1960, at the First Reformed Church of Sioux Center. Garold and Chris were blessed with 4 children. They made their home north of Sioux Center where they farmed for many years. While on the farm, they crop farmed, milked cows and raised other livestock.
