Garoldean Kay Bostick, age 93, of Jones County, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 22, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Garoldean was born on September 24, 1931, in Belleville, Kansas, to Orie Willis and Gladyse Arthur Benjamin. She was a devoted wife to the late Sidney Lawson Bostick and a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. A woman of deep faith, she was a longtime member of New Haven Baptist Church where she taught Vacation Bible School and shared her beautiful soprano voice and on many occasions she would be asked to sing a solo impromptu and also enjoyed singing in the church choir. She also spent several years as a member of New Hope Baptist Church and taught vacation bible school as well.
Garoldean found joy in fishing, growing flowers, raising animals, and crafting. She will be remembered as funny, friendly, faith-filled, selfless, loving, sincere, supportive, resilient, devoted, and joyful. She cherished time with her family, especially during their trips to Jekyll Island. She instilled in her loved ones the values of hard work and dedication.
She is survived by her children: Rosella Malone (Rocky), Laura Saxon (Nicchi), Patsy Bostick Crammer, Bobby Crammer (Janet), Charis Brantley (Mark), Richard K. Bostick (Melinda), and Charlotte Flowers (Todd); her sister, Carol Fay Arnold; 28 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank her caregivers for their dedicated service during her lengthy illness, Penne, Michelle, Jaden, Enid and Traditions Health Hospice caregivers Dawn, Cece, Breanna and Brad.
