Garrett Joseph Crespy (83) of Toms River and Naples, Fl., was born in Jersey City, NJ. He
attended St. Michael's High School in Union City and St. Peter's College in Jersey City. He
was a member of the Army Reserves until discharged in 1967. Garrett was employed by Airco
Corporation, Tri-Gas, and Union Gas. Employed in the gas and welding industry, he relocated
to Texas in 1978. He was pre-deceased by his wife Geraldine. Garrett is survived by his loving
family, his wife, Anita Beronio Crespy, his son Timothy Crespy and his wife Maricela, his son
Scott Crespy and his wife Anna Lee. He had two grandsons, Timothy Garrett and John
Nicholas Crespy, and a great-granddaughter Kaelyn. He is also survived by his stepdaughters
Jennifer and Christine Beronio and stepson Dr. John Beronio and his wife Debi. His stepgrandchildren
include Matthew and Marissa Tedeschi, Michael and Daniel Henry, and John,
Rian, and James Beronio.
A memorial mass with be held at St. Marco Catholic Church, Marco Island on Thursday, August
31, 2023 at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The American Cancer
