Garrett Morris "G-Man" Devine

Mr. Garrett Morris “G-Man” Devine, 33, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, October 30, 2024. Garrett was born in Statesboro to Danny Devine and Amy Louise Dickerson Devine on June 30, 1991. He was a 2009 graduate at Bryan County High School. Growing up Garrett enjoyed summers at Camp Kicklighter. He enjoyed fishing, working on vehicles, and spending time with family. A few of his favorite things were watching Netflix, drinking Dr. Pepper, eating Chips Ahoy Cookies with milk and enjoying homemade pound cake.

He is preceded in death by his maternal granddad, Gary M. Dickerson; paternal grandparents, Dwight Devine and Grace Devine and his best friend, Tank.

Survivors include his son, Garrison M. Devine of Ellabell; mother, Amy Louise Dickerson Devine of Pembroke; father, Danny Devine of Pembroke; two sisters, Michaela Freeman (Andrew) of Statesboro and Ariel Devine (Kenny Haak) of Pembroke; brother, Danny Pfister of Ellabell; nephew, Aidan; two nieces, Addison and Alaina; maternal grandmother Helen “Grande” Dickerson; three maternal aunts, Michelle Halter (Newley), Dana Coleman (Chuck) and Jana Adams (Brian); special cousin, Brooke Todd (William Scott); great cousin, Charlotte Scott; two paternal uncles, Joey Devine (Melbry) and Lonny Devine (Elna); cousin Lonny MacDonald; Best friend Justin Rovolis and numerous other family members.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 4, 2024, from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at Flanders Powell Funeral Home. 

Funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Flanders Powell Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Robbie Joyner officiating.

Burial will be held at Lawrence Baptist Church Cemetery.
