Garry Knapp Obituary
Garry Herman Knapp passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Wednesday, May 15, 2024.
Garry was born on August 10, 1949, to the late Herbert and Gladys Knapp. He had four wonderful children with Bonnie Knapp. Garry worked for Truck and Bus of Flint, MI Local Union 598 for 32 years, retiring in 2004. In his 20 years of retirement, he truly enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, gardening, and keeping his lawn in tip top shape. Above all he loved spending time with his kids and grandkids. Garry also had a huge love for God and wanted everyone to know who their Lord and Savior is.
Garry leaves to cherish in his memory his children; Tammy (John) Rodanhisler, Nancy (Stan) Shamel, Monica (Barry) Bremer. Grandchildren; Johnny, Trevor, Alexis, Makayla, and Chloe, sister Beverly Brown, and brother, Ralph (Sue) Knapp.
Besides his parents he is preceded in death by; son Mike Knapp, granddaughter Ashley Knapp, brother Darrell Knapp and brother-in-law Darry (Tobe) Brown.
The family would like to invite you to Hanlin Funeral Home in Millington, MI on Saturday, May 18, 2024, for a time of visiting starting at 11:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. As the Lord leads you memorial contributions can be made in Garry’s name.
