Daniel Mark "Dan" Schwab of Millington, Michigan, passed away at his residence on Monday, August 11th, 2025. 

Daniel was born on April 28th, 1963, to Victor and Carol (Hahn) Schwab. He attended St. Paul’s Lutheran School through 8th grade and graduated from Millington High School (MHS) in 1981. Dan played football and wrestled for MHS. and won 1st in state his sophomore year earning a spot on the 1979 AAU wrestling team that competed in Japan.

Dan worked construction most of his life. He was an avid gardener and grew most of his food along with canning and freezing. He enjoyed raising chickens and dogs; along with fishing and hunting.

Dan is survived by his friend and caretaker Denise Stevens of Millington; two sons, Joshua Stevens of Clio, and Daniel Schwab of Montrose; stepchildren, Brandi & Justin Stevens of Clio; brother, Victor Schwab III and wife Terry of Millington; sisters, Lynn Borcherding and husband John of Millington, Katherine Durkee and husband Doyle of Cedar Springs, and Christine Schwab and Mike Barden of Otisville; grandsons, Aries Schwab and Liam Stevens; along with many aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Cassie; his brother, David; and his parents, Victor and Carol. 

Private arrangements have been made.
