Garvase Jach Obituary
December 29, 1938 - March 1, 2025
Garvase Joseph Jach Jr. age 86, passed away March 1, 2025, at Summit Place in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. Garv was born in Dearborn, Michigan, the son of Garvase and Orlie Jach. He graduated from the University of Michigan, where he met his wife of 53 years, Louise. They raised their children in Decatur, Illinois, and Muscatine, Iowa, where Garv pursued his career as an executive in the tire and rubber industry. Beginning in 1995, Garv and Lou shared their time between Iowa and Vero Beach, Florida, where they loved to golf and spend time on the beach together. In 2019, Garv moved to Eden Prairie to spend time with his children, Kevin and Leslie, and their families. Garv's greatest joy in life has always been his family. In Minnesota, he was also able to spend time on his other passions of fishing and the outdoors. Garv was preceded in death by his wife Louise, his parents, and his sister (Nancy Aupperle). He is survived by his son, Kevin Jach and his wife Shannon of Eden Prairie, MN; daughter Leslie Bodell and her husband Gerard of Plymouth, MN; grandchildren Michael (Kylee) Bodell, Maddie Bodell, Ryan (Marissa) Jach, Lauren Jach, Aaryn Sutton, Amber (David) Beal, and Austin Sutton; and great grandchildren (Rylie, Kinsley, Aspen, Cruz, Harrison, Starla, and Skylar). Memorial contributions can be made to The National Loon Center Foundation in Garvase Jach's memory, which can be done through their website https://www.nationallooncenter.org., under the Donate tab.
A private funeral service will be held in Eden Prairie, MN, and an interment will be in Vero Beach, FL.

Dear Leslie and Kevin , Fred and I send our sincere condolences in the loss of your dad! Your parents played a lot of bridge with my folks (Janet and Don Battey) in Muscatine . We had the pleasure of visiting with them several times in Vero Beach and they came to see us in Lake Wales! He will be missed. May God give you comfort and peace! Sheila Lepley
