Gary Edward Amerman

Gary Edward Amerman, age 65, of Bangor, Pennsylvania, died on Sunday, August 24, 2025 at St. Lukes Hospital in Phillipsburg, New Jersey.
Gary was born the second child to George and Carolynn Amerman, and was raised in Bud Lake, NJ. After high school, Gary entered the autobody industry following in his father's footsteps. This familial passion led him to proudly own his own business, Body by Amerman.
He was an avid fan of racing. Having raced microstocks for years he held a championship season trophy that he loved to rub in his kid's faces. He was passionate about music, always jamming out drinking Budweiser, yelling "Crank it up!" Gary enjoyed the legacy of fixing and maintaining his father's hotrods and cruising on his motorcycles.
Gary was a jokester, a prankster, and a damn good time. His friends and family will miss his caring nature, great music taste, and infectious laugh which could put a smile on anybody's face.
He is survived by two children, Christopher Amerman and Jessica Heinsohn; three grandchildren, Lacey, Evie, and Colton Heinsohn; and his sister Kathi Hoffman; his uncle Kurt Amerman; niece Katrina Blencowe; nephew Robert Hoffman; and cousin Theresa Amerman.
Visitation will be held Friday, August 29 from 5:00-7:30 PM at Morgan Funeral Home, 31 Main Street, Netcong, NJ 0786.A Funeral Service will be held immediately following visitation at 7:30 at the funeral home. Interment is private.
