Gary Edwin Andrashko, 75, of Irvington, Virginia, passed away at home suddenly and unexpectedly on November 6, 2025. A devoted husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend, Gary will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him. His life was marked by love, curiosity, and a steady grace that touched those around him.
Born on May 14, 1950, in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, Gary was the beloved son of John (Jack) Andrashko and the late Lois Andrashko. From a young age, Gary showed a deep appreciation for the beauty of life, which would later inspire his passions and pursuits. He graduated from college, loaded up his car and drove east alone to settle on Cape Cod. There he worked as a deep-sea fisherman, then at Eldred's Auction House.
While at Eldred's he met his soulmate, Faye, and this was the beginning of their love story. His marriage to his beloved wife, Faye, was his greatest adventure. Together, they built a partnership filled with laughter, learning, and countless journeys both near and far. Whether wandering through antique markets, setting out on new travel experiences, or simply sharing quiet evenings together, Gary and Faye found joy in life's details and in one another's company.
Known for his meticulous nature and thoughtful approach to everything he did, Gary found great joy in his work as a professional photographer. His keen eye and deep appreciation for the world's details transformed everyday moments into timeless art. Beyond the lens he was a car enthusiast, avid reader, and collector of antiques. His curiosity for history and beauty made every discovery a meaningful experience, especially when shared with Faye.
Gary's friends and family will remember him for his endless kindness, unwavering loyalty, sharp intellect, and quick wit. He approached life with a steady hand, a caring heart, and a generous spirit. Whether through a shared story, a helping hand, or a simple moment of understanding, Gary had a unique ability to make others feel valued and appreciated.
Gary is survived by his loving wife Faye; his father, Jack; his brother, Craig, his sisters, Susan Chenard (Kevin Busse) and Mary; sister-in-law, Gwen Allen, along with numerous loving nieces and nephews, and many relatives and dear friends who became like family over the years. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lois, and his brother, John.
Loved by all for his generosity, kindness, and loyalty, Gary's warmth and presence will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him. A celebration of his life will be at a later date.

Gary was truly a kind and good natured soul. He was my mentor, friend, and valued coworker and I will miss him sorely. Eternal rest grant unto him, Oh Lord, and may perpetual light shine upon him. God Bless Faye and the rest of his family.
