Gary Angelica Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels & Cremation Services on Jun. 20, 2025.
Gary N. Angelica, 73, of East Hampton, formerly of Enfield, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2025 surrounded by his loving family.
Born on May 31, 1952, in Springfield, Massachusetts, Gary was the son of the late Sebastian and Stella (Wojtkielewicz) Angelica. He grew up in Enfield and was a proud graduate of Enfield High School, Class of 1970. From a young age, Gary had a deep love for the guitar-which he played passionately throughout his life. He was an avid Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots fan.
Gary had a long and accomplished career as a computer programmer, most recently working at United Natural Foods Inc. (UNFI) in Providence, Rhode Island, where he retired after 23 years of dedicated service. He was known for his warm spirit, quick wit, and sense of humor that left a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Gary was a parishioner at St. Patrick Church in Enfield during his youth. He treasured his family deeply and is survived by his loving daughter Tracy Hinckley and her husband Les of Windsor Locks; his son Brian Angelica of Virginia; and his adored grandsons Allen and Garrett Hinckley. He also leaves behind his sister Mary Ann Caron of Enfield and her children, Norman and Daniel Dupuis; his brother Mark Angelica and his wife Barbara-Anne of Manchester, and their twin daughters Nicole Sharma and Kathryn Angelica; as well as many cousins, friends, and extended family members who will miss him dearly. All services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Gary's memory to the Windsor Locks Arts Council "Dollars for Scholars", Windsor Locks Town Hall, 50 Church Street, Windsor Locks, CT 06096, or to Guitars for Vets, at [email protected]
