It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, Gary Charles Arbuthnot, who left this world peacefully on November 26, 2025.

Born with a quiet strength and a steadfast sense of duty, on August 27th, 1950, in Winchester, Mass, Gary devoted his life to service, family, and hard work. A proud United States Marine Corps veteran, he served his country with honor during the Vietnam War, carrying the discipline, courage, and camaraderie of the Corps with him throughout his life.

For 40 years, he worked as a skilled machine engineer for Xerox, a career that reflected his sharp mind, steady hands, and unwavering dedication.

Above all else, Gary was a man who loved deeply. He was the cherished father of four children, whose lives he shaped with patience, humor, and quiet guidance. He is survived by his 4 children, Neal Arbuthnot, Nicholas Arbuthnot, Stacie and husband Brian Mclean, Lindsey and husband Jonathan Duffy, twin sister Gail and husband Harry Demonaco, younger sister Ann and husband Barry Mikoluk, as well as 5 grandchildren, Jonathan Duffy, Samantha Duffy, Brody Duffy, Griffin Duffy, and Charles Mclean.

His legacy lives on in the family he nurtured, the work he accomplished, and the lives he touched with his kindness and calm resolve.

He will be deeply missed but forever remembered with gratitude and love.
