"Baruch Dayan ha Emet"
Blessed is the Judge of Truth
Gary C. Bachman was born December 9, 1943 to Frank K. Bachman and Abie Lee, (Lani) Bachman (nee Lanham) in Louisville, Kentucky.
By the time for him to enroll in elementary school the family had settled in Midwest City, Oklahoma. Gary grew up there, graduating from Midwest City High School in 1961. He met and married Connie (Sampson) when he was a sophomore at Central State (now U.C.O.) in Edmond. Gary and Connie had one son, Stephen, born to them while Gary was attending Central State and working nights at Tinker Air Force Base.
After graduating from Central State, Gary enrolled in Oklahoma City University School of Law, graduating with honors in 1970. After passing the Bar, he soon went to work at the Rhodes, Hieronymous, Holloway and Wilson law firm. Later that firm became Holloway, Dobson and Bachman law firm. Gary practiced law in Oklahoma City for more than 50 years. At this time his son Stephen and granddaughter Samantha carry on the law practice in integrity and pride.
More than 40 years ago Gary and Connie founded Zion's Gate International, a small family foundation devoted to fostering co-operation and understanding between Christians and Jews. Through that agency, Gary has traveled to Israel more than 100 times. He has served as executive board member of the International Christian Embassy and Partnered with several other ministries and institutions, both Christian and Jewish. In his capacity of being an ordained minister, his favorite privilege was that of officiating at the wedding of his granddaughter Samantha to Jordan Pickard in 2017.
Gary leaves behind his wife of 61 years, Connie; his son Stephen and wife Tamara; his granddaughter Samantha and her husband Jordan; his brother and sister-in-law, Rick and Judy Bachman; and sister-in-law Rebecca Climer.
Gary is already sorely missed.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that all memorial donations be directed to Chabad of Oklahoma City, located at 3000 W. Hefner Rd. OKC.

Our Covenant Brother, Judge Gary Bachman, along with "Momma Connie" planted plentiful seeds of love into: Israel, New Life christian Center - San Antonio, Tx. and the World!
It is only fitting that we plant trees, memorializing his memory in continuing to provide life giving nourishment to forests where needed!

Our most memorable life and times shared with Judge Gary Bachman and the lovingly known as "Momma Connie", include our enjoyment being informed and inspired by Zion's Gate International produced calendars; and have spanned from San Antonio to the Sea of Galilee <> from Shabbat Teachings/Family dinners to David Citadel Fellowship in Jerusalem!

We thank ADONAI and appreciate the blessings the Bachmans have been in our lives!
