Gary R Beach

Gary R. Beach, 70, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away in his residence on Sunday, April 20, 2025. Born February 19, 1955, in Toledo, Ohio, to Lawrence H. and Gloria (Wyman) Beach Jr., Gary was a graduate of E.L. Bowsher High School. He graduated from The University of Toledo with a degree in Business Administration, and was a member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity. Gary worked in the family business at the former Starr Lumber and Millwork on Starr Ave. Gary was a former member of the Maumee River Yacht Club.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents and dear friend Teri Bertolina. Surviving are his sister, Kristine (Raymond) Young, Nephew Ryan (Amanda) Young, Niece Kelly (Andrew) Frankowiak, great-nieces and Nephews, Kensie Frankowiak, Callen Frankowiak, Noah Young, Elliott Young, and his German Shepherd companion, Barbie.

Gary was a lover of all animals, and over the years, nurtured a variety of animals, including a squirrel, many bunnies, a raccoon, a robin, and an owl. 

Gary was a boating enthusiast and enjoyed his speedboats, yachts, and wave runners. He spent many summers at The Cedar Point Marina with family and friends.

The service will be a private entombment and will take place at Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery. The family suggests memorials to The Toledo Zoo or Nature's Nursery—arrangements by Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home, 3453 Heatherdowns at Byrne Rd, Toledo, OH.
