In the 1980s, I was at a training seminar in downtown Pittsburgh. During one of the sessions, a fire alarm went off. The gentleman (Gary) standing next to me outside the building seemed very agitated. I asked him what was wrong. In typical Gary fashion, he said, "I hope this isn't a real fire. I left the only sports jacket I own upstairs." We both laughed and struck up a friendship that lasted for over 40 years. I consider him one of my dearest friends. Certainly one of the longest friendships I've had. A wonderful man. My thoughts today are with him, Denise, Grant, and Grace. Peace be with you.

I didn´t know Gary terribly well but did work with him at the Reds complex. I´m sorry to see another brother pass. May he find heaven to be wonderful and any left behind, peace. My most sincere condolences

Gary was a ray of sunshine. His humor and laughter will live on in our hearts. Although miles separated us, he and Denise remained true friends. Bernie and I will always cherish our treasured memories of our many times together.
You sang in the church choir, and always wanted to carry the gifts up for communion... well, they´re in your hands now. Praise the Lord in person!
Until we meet again, rest in peace dear friend. We love you.

Rest in peace Uncle Gary. I will tell my grandson Anderson when he´s old enough about his Great Great Uncle Gary and what a great Uncle you were. You will be missed by everybody.
All my love to you Aunt Denise
