Gary was a former mechanic and handyman. He enjoyed watching TV.
In addition to his parents, Ralph and Elizabeth Carpenter, Gary was preceded in death by his sister Sherry Luyster; and nephew, Mike Carpenter.
Gary is survived by his sister, Jeannie Thompson; brother, Mike Carpenter; nieces, Paula (Neal) Fankhauser and Machelle Carpenter; nephews, Jeff Thompson, Mark Carpenter, and Chris (Jill) Carpenter; and several great nieces and great nephews.
No services will be held. Gary's care is entrusted to Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio.
