Gary Cave Obituary
Tom was born on March 16, 1955 in Winchester, VA, a son of the late Carson R. and Helen L. Lamp Cave. He was a 1973 graduate of James Wood High School and worked for Shenandoah Foods in Winchester, VA for 20+ years & Performance Food Group in Richmond, VA for 18+ years. Tom enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family.
Surviving is a son: James T. Cave of Winchester, VA; three brothers: William "Bill" Cave of Stephens City, VA; Eddie Cave of Cross Junction, VA; David Cave of Berkeley Springs, WV and a sister: Cindy Christoffel of Front Royal, VA.
He is preceded in death by a son: Gary T. Cave, II and three brothers: John, Allen & Larry Cave.
Family will receive friends at the Giffin Funeral Home and Crematory in Capon Bridge, WV on Thursday, June 6, 2024, from 5-7 PM.
A graveside service will be held in the Gainesboro Cemetery in Gainesboro, VA on Friday, June 7, 2024 at 11:00 AM. Officiating will be Pastor Gary Palmer.
Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Tom to the Gainesboro Cemetery, C/O Gary Palmer, 314 Chestnut Grove Road, Winchester, VA 22603.

Meeting Tom as a new employee(me) at PFG. He was always friendly and polite
even when I made a mistake. I will miss his "pat" greeting on the phone when he'd call in.
Prayers for his family and friends.
Rest In Peace Tom. No more pain.
