In Loving Memory of Douglas Leroy "Doogie" Robinette

Douglas Leroy "Doogie" Robinette, 62, of Paw Paw, West Virginia, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, January 18, 2026.

Born on June 5, 1963, in Cumberland, Maryland, Doogie was the son of the late Leroy Franklin Robinette and his stepmother, Sharon Neus Robinette. He was a man of many talents with endless heart. Known by many as the "snake whisperer" during his time at Barrett Pest Control, he was fearless and always the first to step up.

Doogie was a true outdoorsman. He found joy in trout fishing, hunting, sharing stories with friends and strangers alike, and savoring his Busch beer. He was a true jack of all trades-he built the home his family currently lives in and could fix just about anything. If something was broken, you could bet ole Doogie could fix it.

On December 28, 1997, he married Tammy Stotler in Paw Paw, and together they built a full life of love and laughter. He is survived by his devoted wife of 28 years, Tammy, and their son, Franklin T. Robinette of Paw Paw. He also leaves behind his sisters, Melody Robinette Murdock (Mike) of Indiana and Victoria Robinette Miller (Bob) of North Carolina, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins who will carry his memory forward.

A funeral service will be held at Giffin Funeral Home & Crematory on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at 12:00 PM, officiating will be Pastor John Sine. Interment will follow at Camp Hill Cemetery in Paw Paw. Friends and family are invited to gather one hour prior to the service to honor and remember Doogie's life.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Panhandle, 330 Hospice Lane, Kearneysville, WV 25430.
