Gary Jackson Clark, 81, of Anderson, Indiana, went to be with the Lord on September 28, 2022, at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital after an extended illness.
He was born August 12, 1941, in Enterprise, Kentucky, the son of Albert and Opal (Knipp) Clark.
Gary served in the U.S. Army and was an employee at Delco Remy Division of General Motors for 32 1/2 years before retiring on January 1, 1997.
He is survived by his sons, Edward M. Clark of Connersville, Indiana, and Jeffery Porter of Anderson, Indiana; three brothers, Donald R. (Shirley) Clark of Marion, Indiana, Charles (Carolyn) Clark of Olive Hill, Kentucky and Darrell (Gail) Clark of Warfield, Kentucky; grandson, Joshua Fountain; great grandchildren, Destiny (Darien) Cory, Alexis Fountain; great-great grandson, Waylon Jaxx Cory; brother-in-law, Rudy Cuellar; sister-in-law, Sally Clark; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Nelda (Day) Clark; two brothers, James E. Clark and Bobby Clark; sister, Bonnie Cuellar; an infant sister; and sister-in-law, Fern Clark.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, October 3, 2022, at the Clark Cemetery in Soldier. Family and friends will meet at 12 noon Monday at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
