Gary John Cmeyla

Gary John Cmeyla, age 85, of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, went to be with the Lord on December 29, 2022, at his home. He was born on April 28, 1937, in Algoma, Wisconsin, to Melvin and Ursula (Hunsader) Cmeyla.
A decorated United States Air Force veteran, Gary served two tours in Vietnam. He retired from the service after twenty-five years of dedication to his country. In addition, Gary retired from the Fort Walton Beach Golf Course. He cherished the many friendships he made throughout his career. Most of all, Gary loved his family.
Gary is survived by his wife of eleven years, Yolanda Cmeyla; daughter, Christine Marie Allen and her husband, Scott; sons, Scott Alan Cmeyla and his wife, Renee, and William Paul Cmeyla and his wife, Sarah; stepson, Bryan Scott Pike; stepdaughters, Kelly Marie Hudson and Kari Michelle Paramore; grandchildren, Tony, Alex, Nathan, Jane, Hannah, Miriam, Micah, Bethany and Lindsay; great-grandchildren, Cooper and Maisie; siblings, Teresa, Chuck and Andy; and numerous, nieces, nephews and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his wives, Ellen Jane Cmeyla and Arlene Cmeyla; and siblings, Joe and Mike.
Gary's wishes were for there to be no public services and be laid to rest, at a later date, next to his children's mother, Ellen Jane Cmeyla, in Wisconsin Memorial Park, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Emerald Coast Church in Gary's memory.
