Gary Edward Cole, age 78, passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2025, in Mena, Arkansas. He was born on June 1, 1947, in Mena, Arkansas, to parents Owen Cole and Madine Howard Cole.

Gary was a member of Concord Baptist Church. He was one of the founding fathers of the Ink Volunteer Fire Department. Gary enjoyed cattle farming, but his greatest loves were his kids, grand and great-grand kids. Gary was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. He will be greatly missed

Gary is preceded in death by his parents, Owen and Madine Cole, sister, Ceilia May, and brother, Richard Cole. He is survived by his wife, Linda Whitley Cole of Mena, Arkansas; daughter, Staci Brooks (Bobby) of Mena, Arkansas, son, Brad Cole of Mena, Arkansas; his brother, Kenneth Cole (Beth) of Keo, Arkansas, sister, Shirley Aleshire (Jim) of Mena, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Jared Cole Brooks (Tiffany), Lexi Jae Garrison (Brock), Ty Brannon Cole, three great grand-children, Whitleigh and Avery Brooks, Waylon Garrison. Host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Graveside Services for Gary Edward Cole will be held Saturday, September 13, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Concord Cemetery in Ink, Arkansas with Brother Jerry Taylor officiating under the direction of Beasley-Wood Funeral Home. Interment will be held at the Concord Cemetery in Ink, Arkansas.
