GARY P. COOK
Gary P. Cook, age 66, of Belton, Missouri passed away peacefully on March 2, 2025, at the Kansas City Hospice House surrounded by his loving family.
A celebration of life visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Cullen Funeral Home, Inc., 612 W. Foxwood Dr., Raymore, Missouri 64083. A private family burial will be held at XII Gates Memorial Gardens.
Gary was born in Kansas City, Missouri on June 16, 1958, the son of David Ronald Cook and Sarah Kathleen Banner. While in high school, Gary met the love of his life Terry K. Moore, they were high school sweethearts and later married on September 10, 1976. Together they were blessed with five children, Jason, Carma, David, Daniel, and Jacob. In life, Gary provided for his family as a roofer in the construction field for over 30 plus years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and the great outdoors. He loved going to the lake with his family and friends every chance he could.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents, David and Kathleen Cook.
He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Terry K. Cook; his five children, Jason Cook (Brandie), Carma Ransom (Brandon), David Cook (Cyndi), Daniel Cook (Carlos), and Jacob Cook (Emma); brother, Terry J. Cook (Tammy); sister, Kerry D. Cook (Ron); eight grandchildren, Shelby Cook, Gracie Ransom, Carlie Ransom, Emily Cook, Kylie Cook, Lincoln Cook, Imogen Cook, and Harrison Cook.
