WARREN - Gary Lee Crisan, 64, born August 7, 1960, of Niles, Ohio, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2025.

A loving son, brother, father and stepfather, Gary cherished the time he got to spend with his family and in nature. He continued to stay close with many of his siblings despite the long distances between them.

Gary was an avid Cleveland Indians and Minnesota Vikings fan, both of whom he followed closely and would discuss their statistics and players with anyone who would listen. He had a kind and caring heart and was always willing to lend a helping hand to someone in need.

Gary enjoyed spending time in Coudersport, Pennsylvania, where his family vacationed together in his childhood and where he and his brother, David, continued to visit for many years enjoying fishing and sightseeing while looking for other wildlife in God’s Country, USA.

Gary was preceded in death by his brothers, Thomas Patrick Crisan and Lawrence John Crisan; brother-in-law, James Patrick (Butch) DeFazio; niece, Jasmine Marie DeFazio, and his parents, Lawrence Leon Crisan and Helen Marie Crisan.

He will be immensely missed here on earth by all of his family, including his daughter, Jennifer Crisan Elson and grandson, Noah, both of Colliers, West Virginia; his longtime partner, Heather Crisan, and his stepson, Jonathan Coe, both of Niles, Ohio; brothers, David Crisan of Masury, Ohio, William Crisan (Deanna) of Indianapolis, Indiana and James Crisan (Veronica) of Kent, Ohio; sisters, Carol DeFazio of Marietta, Georgia and Mary Anne Paul of Wilmington, North Carolina, as well as many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that if you are so inclined, that you make a donation to the Pennsylvania Wildlife Federation at https://pawildlife.org/donate or Tails of Hope Dog Rescue at https://tailsofhopedogrescue.com/ways-to-help/ in honor of Gary.

Per Gary’s wishes, no services have been planned at this time.

The family would like to thank Redmon Funeral Home in Stow, Ohio, for their assistance at this difficult time.
