Gary Rodney Dickerson, age 59, and a resident of Dauphin Island, Alabama, passed away on Friday, October 31, 2025.
Gary was a graduate of Theodore High School and Faulkner University where he earned his Associate degree in Business Administration. Gary loved to play the drums, listen to music and talk about the Bible.
He is survived by his wife, Wendy Dickerson; his parents: OD & Mildred Dickerson; his brother, Mark Dickerson; sister-in-law, Sherry Ladnier (Richie); brother-in-law, Rusty Nelson (Ann), and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Gary was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Melvin Nelson; mother-in-law, Gayle Nelson; and his brother-in-law, Brian Nelson.
A visitation will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025, from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 6040 Three Notch Rd., Mobile, Alabama. A graveside service will begin at 2:00 p.m.
