Gary Eads Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Ozark Funeral Homes - Anderson on Nov. 16, 2023.
Gary Edward Eads, 56, a beloved son, father, brother, uncle and friend, passed away suddenly of natural causes at his residence in Anderson, Missouri on Tuesday, November 14, 2023. Born on February 15, 1967, in Joplin, Missouri, Gary was a man of kindness, selflessness, and an unmatched handyman spirit.
Gary was a lifelong area resident and a 1985 graduate of McDonald County High School. For 25 years, Gary traveled the world erecting tanks for the Wetzel family. He served as foreman and was respected and admired by his colleagues. In recent years, he brought his talents to Tatum Motor Company, where he worked as a mechanic. His passion for his work was evident in everything he did, and he was known for his ability to fix anything that came his way.
Gary's love for nature was a defining aspect of his life. He found peace and joy in the great outdoors, whether he was cutting wood, burning brush or simply enjoying the tranquility of a Missouri sunset.
Gary was preceded in death by his mother, Marie (Spears) Eads; a sister, Glenna Eads; and a niece, Natalie Eads. His memory will be cherished by his surviving family members. He leaves behind his two daughters, Regan and Riane Eads, who were the light of his life. He is also survived by his father, Glenn Eads of Goodman; two brothers, Gaylen Eads and wife, Debi, of Anderson and Brad Eads and wife, Dana, of Bentonville; his companion, Sauncie Turn of Anderson; as well as a host of nephews and countless friends. In remembering Gary, we celebrate a life well-lived, a man well-loved, and a legacy that will continue to inspire.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday afternoon, November 21, 2023 beginning at 1:00 p.m. in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes. A graveside service will follow the visitation at 2:00 p.m. at Anderson Cemetery with Donnie Spears officiating. Those honoring his life by serving as pallbearers are Bob Jones, Noah Eads, Ethan Eads, Mark Bobacher, Hunter McKinney and Colton Murray with Kurtis Summers serving as an honorary. The family will receive friends on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Ronald McDonald House in care of the funeral home. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of the Ozark Funeral Home in Anderson, Missouri.
