Lee Leemasters Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Ozark Funeral Homes - Anderson on Jan. 30, 2026.
Junior Lee Leemasters, age 78, passed away at his residence in Goodman, Missouri, on Thursday, January 29, 2026. He entered this life on May 20, 1947, in Kingman, Arizona, one of ten children born to the late Jason Elsworth and Mary Pauline (Trujillo) Leemasters.

Lee spent his formative years in Arizona before his adventurous spirit led him to Pecos, Texas, where he resided for several years. Later, Lee moved to Fayetteville, Arkansas, where he drove a truck for the Salvation Army and worked at Wal-Mart.

In 2020, Lee made his final move to Goodman, Missouri. He was a man who cherished the simple pleasures of life, whether it was fishing, hunting, listening to music, riding his motorcycle or simply being outdoors. Lee attended Goodman First Baptist Church.

He is survived by his daughter, Rebecca Scoggins of Lanagan, Missouri; three grandchildren; three sisters, Betty Eubanks, Lillie Brown and Mary Lou Huntley; four brothers, Paul Leemasters, Jason Leemasters, Jim Leemasters and Ruben Leemasters; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mary Leemasters; and two siblings, Mary and Sam.

Graveside services are 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 6, 2026 at Peace Valley Cemetery in Anderson, Missouri with Pastor Mark Hall officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Ozark Funeral Home in Anderson, Missouri.
