Mr. Gary Lynn Everett, age 59 a resident of Pelahatchie passed away on Monday, May 13, 2024 at his home. Visitation will be held 1pm-1:45pm Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton. Chapel service will be held 2pm Wednesday from the Ott & Lee Chapel in Morton. Graveside will be held following in Cross Roads Baptist Cemetery. Bro. Spencer Sullivan will officiate the services. Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton is honored to serve the Everett family.
Lynn was born in Jackson, MS on August 14, 1964. He loved being outdoors deer hunting and enjoyed cheering for Mississippi State. Lynn worked for the State Tax Commission for many years. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Gary Everett and Linnie Burnham Everett; Grandparents, J.H. Burnham and Lettie Merle Burnham, Clyde and Mattie Faye Everett and special dog, Barney.
He is survived by his brother, John Everett of Tupelo; special cat, Kitty Cat; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Pallbearers will be Gabe Nutt, Dustin Keen, Chad Stewart, Don Davis, Jeff Jordan and Terry Hughes.
