Gary Federoff, 69 of Center Township a cherished husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at his home
Born in Washington, PA, where he spent his early childhood, Gary moved with his family to Hopewell Township at the age of 11. A devoted son to his surviving mother, Ann Louise (Ritchie) Federoff, and predeceased by his father, Lawrence Federoff, Gary's family was the cornerstone of his life. His unwavering love for his wife, whom he met at the tender age of 16, was evident throughout their 40 years of marriage. Together, they raised a daughter, Lindsay, who, along with her husband Steve Kimmel, gave Gary the joy of being a grandfather to Lucas and Chloe. Gary also held a special place in his heart for his niece, Leah, whom he considered a daughter, and her daughter, Brexlyn, as well as his niece, Macey. His brothers, William (Donna), Larry (Patty), and Christopher (Karen) Federoff, and their children-three nephews and three nieces and two sisters in law, Georgett Elias and Louann Elias were an integral part of his extended family, which also included his beloved dog, Buddy.
Gary was a proud graduate of Hopewell Area High, where he excelled as the captain of the wrestling team, leading his teammates with determination and spirit. His prowess on the mat earned him a scholarship to California University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Education. However, Gary's entrepreneurial spirit led him down a different path.
With a strong work ethic and a vision for success, Gary became a self-made man, founding American Building & Contracting. and G & L Enterprises. His professional legacy is marked by the structures built by his own hands and the jobs he created for others.
An athlete at heart, Gary maintained his love for sports throughout his life and his passion for golf was known by many.
Friends will be received on Saturday. Feb 3rd from noon until the time of service at 3 pm at SIMPSON FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICE, 1119 Washington Avenue, Monaca.
