Gary Charles Glossip, 65, of Odessa, Missouri passed away on Friday, November 8, 2013 at home surrounded by family. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at the Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home, 306 S. Second St., Odessa, MO, 64076, 816-633-5524. Visitation will be held one hour prior at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the charity of donors choice. Condolences for the family may be left at www.ralphojones.com or on our Facebook page. Gary was born on September 1, 1948 in Kansas City, MO to Charles and Opal Glossip. He graduated for Southeast High School in Kansas City, MO. Gary worked 30 plus years as a Storeroom Supervisor for MoDot until his retirement in 2000. On August 24, 1999 he was united in marriage to Nancy (Gross) Glossip who survives of the home. Gary loved NASCAR, hunting, taking trips to the Lake of the Ozarks and driving for miles around the countryside. In addition to his wife, Gary is survived by four children, Wendy Levy of Kansas City, Kansas, Robert Levy of Odessa, MO, Mike Levy of Odessa, MO and Jeff Levy and wife Valerie of Peculiar, MO; four grandchildren, Sheridan Levy, Connor Levy, Camille Levy and Karina Levy; and a great granddaughter, Alexandria Mitchell.
