Gary Goodman Obituary

Born April 5, 1960, at Newport, Arkansas, Gary was a son of the late Herman M. Goodman and Joelle Glover Goodman.
A man of many talents, Gary was a Farmer, heavy machinery operator, mechanic, tinkerer and junker, who had his hands in just about anything he could get them in to. He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, fishing or just taking in the fresh air.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Georgia Faye Goodman.
He is survived by his loving wife, Marilyn Staten Goodman, to whom he was married May 8, 2015; brothers, Herman L. Goodman, Keith Goodman; sisters, Linda Shook and Della Missey; children, Stephen Hooper (Roni), Timothy Hooper (JoJo); daughter, Haley Stivers; six grandchildren; Caregiver, Erma Hooper; and many other loving family & friends.
Funeral services will be Friday, September 26, 2025, 11:00 a.m. at The Refuge, 5400 Windham Road, Pine Bluff, AR, United States, 71602, with Brother Mac Milner officiating. Burial will follow in Brown Cemetery.
Visitation will precede services at the church starting at 10:00 a.m.
