Gary Allen Grotrian

Gary Grotrian, 70, passed away September 28,2024 in Agness, Oregon.
Gary was born March 9, 1954 in Fort Wayne Indiana to his late parents Delmer and Liz Grotrian. He attended Elmhurst high School and graduated in 1972. He went on to Purdue University and graduated with a degree in Horticulture.
Gary loved the outdoors. He was a master gardner, ornamental water specialist, and aquatic plants specialist. He really enjoyed volunteering in the community and helping others. He loved Basketball and listened to or watched all the Purdue games. He spent the last 14 years as the Postmaster in Agness, Oregon, and really loved his Job.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife Shirley Chamberlain, brother Paul Grotrian, nephew Michael Grotrian and his wife Kristy, niece Elisabeth Hooser and her husband Derrek Hooser, niece Kristen Roney and her husband Marc Roney, and nephew Chad Grotrian. He also had two Great Nephews, three Great nieces, and one Great Great nephew.
Gone but never forgotten. There will be a celebration of life at a later time in Oregon and in Indiana.
