Gary Guedry Obituary
Gary was born on May 8, 1955, in Baton Rouge, LA and rested from this life on July 2, 2024, at Sage Rehabilitation Hospital, at the age of 69 years. He was a resident of Baton Rouge, LA an automotive mechanic and served with the US Navy.
He is preceded in death by his parents Sam Joseph and Lena “Sally” Denham Guedry.
Survivors include his partner and friend Cindy, his children: Hope G. Marcantel, Crystal Heather Rodd, Garrett Rodd, and Joe. His siblings: Wayne Guedry (Denise), Kerwin Guedry, Derwin Guedry (Rhonda), and Stephanie German (Joseph). Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and other relatives.
A graveside memorial service for Gary will be held on Monday, July 15th, 2024 at the New River Baptist Church Cemetery in St. Amant, Louisiana for 5:00 PM. Services to be officiated by longtime family friend Terry LeBlanc.
