Gary Lee Handshumaker Jr., age 60 of Bowie, TX left this earth for his heavenly home on Friday, December 6th, 2024, in Fort Worth, TX.
Gary was born on December 22, 1963, to Gary Lee Handshumaker Sr. and Beverly (Tate) Whitfill in Fort Worth, TX. Gary will be remembered by his friends and family for his love of people, his love of rodeos and bucking bulls. He never met a stranger and always made a point to remember their names.
He is preceded in death by his father, Gary Sr. and stepfather, J.Jarrell Whitfill.
Gary is survived by his mother, Beverly Whitfill; stepmother, Lana Handshumaker; sisters, Karen Hancock and husband John, Kristen Taylor and husband David; cousin, Beverlee Eddy and husband Stephen; aunts, Fairy Moore and husband Mike and Glenda McClendon; and numerous cousins and friends.
The family will hold a private celebration of life in honor of Gary's memory. Arrangements entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home of Bowie, TX.
