Gary was born on November 10, 1965 in Little Falls, New York to Palma "Pam" Terzi and his father John "Jack" Heafey, He has two brothers John and Eddie and is preceded in death by 2 brothers Thomas and Michael. He grew up to be a kind and generous man.
In 1996, Gary moved to Lakeland Florida with his family where he spent many years as a Carpenter. He eventually moved to Auburndale where he worked as a well-respected Supervisor at Cutrale until his passing. He was a hard worker, loved to entertain and his favorite thing was karaoke with his life-long friend Jim Lyness. Anyone who knew him knew that he loved his Florida Gators and the BUCS too.
He is survived by his children whom he loved deeply Gary Jr, Michael, Fred and Amanda as well as his Grandchildren Tara, Alex and Richie & Mars, brothers; John and Eddie. He is preceded in death by his 1st Grandson Gary III, brothers; Ricky and Thomas Michael.
Gary never looked for praises or was one to boast. He may have been a man of few words but he was a firm foundation and a sturdy hand through all of life's storms. He was a true friend that you could turn to whether times were good or bad. Even though he is gone, our memories will forever be precious, His life was a blessing and his memory is a treasure. He was loved beyond words and will be missed beyond belief.
