Gary F. Hettrich

Pittsford- Gary Hettrich passed away peacefully on March 7, 2023 at the age of 81. He was born in Buffalo, NY to the late Robert and Hazel Hettrich on December 10, 1941. He was predeceased by his loving wife and best friend, M Patricia Hettrich of 56 years, his brothers- Robert, Douglas, and Richard, as well as his nephew and godson Jeffrey Hettrich. He is also survived by his 4 children, Daniel of Austin, TX, Steven of Hudson, MA, Katherine of Henrietta, Theresa (Chris) of Acton, MA; grandchildren Allison, Bryn, Samantha, Ashley, Steven, Thomas, and Maura; many nieces and nephews.
Gary cherished being with his family, beloved grandchildren, and his friends.
Gary was a joy to be around for all that knew him. He was always willing to lend a helping hand. He was active for many years in the pipe, valve and fitting business in the Rochester area- as an owner of Great Lakes Plumbing Supply. He was always very involved in Lions Clubs in the Rochester area and was past president of the Pittsford Club and Penfield Club. Gary was a driver for many years for Elderberry Express. Gary was an active member of Church of Transfiguration in Pittsford.
Gary will be remembered on March 31 at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services, 3325 Winton Road South, from 4-7 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, April 1, 10AM at Church of Transfiguration in Pittsford.
