Gary Wayne Hollabaugh, 72, of Guys Mills died Sunday, January 16, 2022 at McAllen Heart Hospital, McAllen, TX.
He was born in Meadville December 3, 1949 a son of Wayne Glen and Doris Marie Hall Hollabaugh. He married Mary Braun December 27, 1997 and she survives.
He was a graduate of Randolph East Mead High School and received an Assoc. Degree in Business from Erie Business School. He owned and operated Brunot and Hollabaugh Glass and Mirror Inc retiring in 2010. Following his retirement, he served as a Randolph Twp. Supervisor for 5 years and was the township Road Master for several years.
Gary was a member and Past Master of Masonic Lodge #408 and was a volunteer fireman for several years and former Chief of the Randolph Vol. Fire Dept. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed muzzle loading with his sons. He also enjoyed fishing, camping and spending the winter in Texas with his wife, Mary, where he would race his r/c cars and fly his r/c plane.
Survivors in addition to his wife, Mary of 24 years, include: three sons, Stephen Hollabaugh (Susan) of Guys Mills, Shawn Hollabaugh (Lori) of Guys Mills and Lance Hollabaugh (Jennifer) of Meadville; two step-daughters, Anita Price of Meadville and Brenda Butler (Mike) of Bend, OR; ten grandchildren; one great grandchild; a sister, Linda Barnes (Michael) of Guys Mills; a brother, Robert Hollabaugh and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The memorial service will be Saturday, January 29. 2022 at 1 p.m. at United Evangelical Free Church of Guys Mills, 11534 State Hwy 198, Guys Mills, PA with Pastor Bill Cox, officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to Randolph Volunteer Fire Department, 11475 State Hwy 198, Guys Mills, PA 16327.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, Inc., 581 Chestnut Street, Meadville where memories and condolences may be shared at www.waidfuneralhome.net
