Rose and Waid Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. - Conneaut LakeDelores “Dee” Elizabeth Soltis Litke, age 76, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 18, 2025, in Fishers, Indiana.
Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Dee graduated from Domenec High School and earned her education degree from Slippery Rock University. She devoted her career to teaching English at St. John’s and Seton Catholic Schools, where she inspired countless students with her kindness and love of learning.
Dee was a beloved wife, sister, friend, mother, and grandmother. Their home was always filled with laughter, stories, and games. She was a faithful member of Our Lady Queen of the Americas Church in Conneaut Lake.
On August 21, 1971, Dee married Ronald Walter Litke. Together they raised three children: Andrew (Valarie), Paul (Susie), and Ann. They were blessed with four cherished grandchildren: Quinlan, Peter, Rhys, and Lucy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Helen Soltis; her brother, Joe Soltis; her beloved husband, Ron; and her dear daughter, Ann.
Family and friends will be received on Friday, November 14, 2025, from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. at Our Lady Queen of the Americas Church, 155 S. Ninth Street, Conneaut Lake. A Memorial Mass will be held at 2:00 p.m. at the church with Father David Carter as celebrant. Arrangements are entrusted to Rose and Waid Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 12422 Conneaut Lake Road, Conneaut Lake. Inurnment will follow in Queen of the Americas Cemetery columbarium.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to The Abbie Hunt Bryce Home, 4760 Pennwood Drive, Indianapolis, IN 46205, or online at www.morninglightinc.org.
