Robin “Rob” William Roberts, 71, passed away on November 20, 2025, in Carmel, Indiana. He was born on April 30, 1954, in Casper, Wyoming, to the late Kenneth Nott Roberts, MD and Mary Evelyn Roberts.
Robin was the youngest of six sons raised in Casper, Wyoming where his father served as a prominent family physician. Robin and his brothers were a close knit group with only ten years separating the youngest from the oldest. One can only imagine the fun and shenanigans Robin experienced growing up with five older brothers.
Robin graduated from the University of New Mexico in 1976 with a bachelors’ degree in business administration. He retired from Archer Daniels Midland Company (ADM) of Decatur, Illinois in 2010 where he served as Director of State Tax. In his spare time, Robin enjoyed golfing, painting, model building, and driving the many classic (and not so classic) cars he procured through the years.
He will be fondly remembered and missed by all who knew him.
Robin is survived by his daughter, Erin Roberts; step-daughter, Megan (Dylan) VanHorn and step-grandson, Elwood VanHorn; brother, Jon (Paula) Roberts; sisters-in-law, Carol, Lynda, and Debbie; and many nieces and nephews.
Robin was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved son, Samuel Roberts; and brothers, Ken, Judd, Steve, and Pete.
