Cynthia L. White

Cynthia L. White, 78, of Spencer, passed away on Sunday, November 23, 2025 at the I.U. Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. Cynthia was born on June 3, 1947 too Lawrence J. Stauffer and Loraine P. (Hines) Stauffer. Cynthia graduated from Dairy Area High School in Pennsylvania, attended Slippery Rock State College and Rutgers University. She worked at Spencer Elementary School as an Instructional Assistant. Cynthia loved sewing, gardening, reading her bible, spending time at the lake with her family and grandkids, attending Shiloh Wesley Chapel and volunteering at the Mark Mission Store.
Cynthia is survived by her husband, Robert L. White, whom she married on September 6, 1975, her children, Cecily (Joshua) Allen, Lindsay Greathouse, grandchildren, Kane M. (Marcie Cano) White, Norah L. Greathouse, Kallan R. Greathouse, great-grandchildren, Brooks Austen Robert White, Rosie Esmeralda White, Lawrence Stauffer Jr., Patricia Timlin and many extended family members and friends. A special thank you to Dr. Diane Wells for her professional care, friendship, and spiritual guidance to Cindy for decades.
Cynthia was preceded in death by her parents.
A celebration will take place at a later date.
