Gary Johnson Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Robertson County Funeral Home on Mar. 5, 2026.
Gary Anthony Johnson, 48, of White House, passed away on Wednesday March 4, 2026, at his home. Celebration of Life services will be conducted Friday March 13th at 6:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home. The employees of Metro Storm Water will serve as honorary pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Friday March 13th from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Gary was born May 13, 1977, in Madison. He was a foreman for the Metro Storm Water Department and was of the Baptist faith. He loved the Lord and placed his faith in Him many years ago. Gary loved playing his guitar, watching horror movies, getting tattoo's, watching the Chicago Bears, and building model cars. His favorite pastime was smoking his cigarette's and drinking his Dr. Pepper's. If Gary liked you, then he loved aggravating you. Gary married his soul mate, Dawn, four years ago. They married two months after meeting each other because they both knew they were meant for one another.

Gary is survived by his wife, Dawn Johnson of White House, by his children: Dalana (Nathan) Tidwell of Charlotte, Toni (Andrew) Davenport of Pleasant View, Jade (Charyse) Judkins of Springfield, and Brayden (Tristan) Judkins of White House, by his parents: David and Pam Johnson of Pleasant View, by his grandchild: Alanah Rogers, by his aunts: Brenda (Larry) Dyal of Franklin, Linda (Marty) Ragland of Hendersonville, by his uncle: Doug (Debra) Norris, by his cousins: Shane (Julie) Norris of Ashland City, Kelsey (Brandon) Crafton of Old Hickory, Marty (Kali) Ragland, Jr., of Springfield, by his best friend: Jimmy Beach of Hendersonville, and by the one that outranked everyone else, Ali Jo, his Shih Tzu that he loved so much.
