Gary Jones

On Monday, March 23, 2026, Gary Don Jones, loving husband, father of three children, and grandfather to eight grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren, passed away at age 78.

Gary was born on August 8, 1948, in Altus, Arkansas, to Noel and Rheba Jones. Gary volunteered and enlisted into the United States Marine Corps and saw service in Vietnam. He continued that patriotic service in the U.S. Air Force, where he met and married Nancy Ann Jones. They raised three sons and eventually settled in Midwest City, after retiring from Tinker AFB in 1989.

Gary had a passion for hunting and was an avid firearms enthusiast. From hunting white-tail deer in Oklahoma and Moose in Alaska, he was always planning his next trip outdoors.

Gary was preceded in death by his father Noel, and his mother, Rheba. He is survived by his wife Nancy, his three children, Jason, Jaime, Joshua, and his four siblings, Marilyn, Brenda, Paula, and Michael.
