GARY M. JUSTICE, SR.
Gary M. Justice Sr, a heroic firefighter, brother, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather passed away, surrounded by
his loving family on May 15, 2023, at the age of 76.
Born on November 29, 1946, in Massillon, Ohio, Gary was the son of Wesley and Bonnie Justice. Gary gave 37 years dedicated to the fire and EMS service that he began as a volunteer in May 1971, responding out of station #2 in the Richville area. His passion as a first responder led him to promotion as Chief of the Perry Township Fire Department which he served for 8 years before retiring in May 2008. He spent many years as a Timken employee in addition to his career as a firefighter.
Gary is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia. He is survived by his brothers, David Justice and Timothy (Marivic) Justice, sister Linda (Charles) Rusk, and children Nicholas (Toni) Justice, Jerry (Melissa) Justice, Gary (Kimberly) Justice Jr., and Bonnie (Dan) Justice-Sutton. Gary has seven grandchildren, Zachary Justice, Alexis Justice, Amanda Baum, Johnathan Justice, Caycee Flickinger, Alex Flickinger, Autumn Justice, and Aiden Justice, and several great-grandchildren. Gary's beloved pugs and sidekicks, Pugsley and Percy, will always cherish his memory.

Services will be held on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at Richville United Church of Christ, 6125 Richville Dr SW, Navarre, OH 44662 with calling hours from 5-6pm, service at 6pm, and a Last Alarm at 6:45pm by the SCFFA (Stark County Firefighters Association). Pastor Will Stuart will serve as officiant.
