Gary E Kasper, 73, of Middletown, PA, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, December 17th, 2025 surrounded by loved ones.
Born in San Francisco, CA he was the son of the late Eldon Kasper and Agnes Wenzl. He was the devoted and loving husband of the late Susan Kasper (Choquette) who passed away in 2005.
He is survived by two children that they shared together, their daughter, Mindi Saslo and grandson, Wyatt Saslo; as well as their Son Dustin Kasper, wife Jackie and two more grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters, Julie, Kathy, and Theresa and brothers, James, Tim, and Randy.
His career as a truck driver allowed him to travel which was his passion. When he came home he and his Wife Susan would spend the nights together sharing a glass of wine and chatting about their adventures while spending time with the kids.
He loved to entertain others and often cooked for gatherings of friends and family. Quick with a big smile and a joke, he was always the life of the party and everyone cherished him.
After his wife's passing, he eventually retired, but couldn't stand "sitting around"! So he went back to work part time and volunteered his time as a member to the American Legion Post 329, enjoying an active social life.
We find peace in the fact that he has rejoined the love of his life after all of these years. He wanted everyone to celebrate his life instead of mourn his passing, so we will hold him dear in all of our memories of the good times, and remember the best ever bear hugs, until we meet again!
Services and interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
