It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Gary Lynn Keith, age 82, of Mt. Vernon, Texas, who departed this life peacefully on January 2, 2026. Gary was born on February 3, 1943, in Franklin County, Texas, to Lester and Madie Keith.
A member of the Clearwater Baptist Church, Gary devoted his life to his family and the land he worked. He enjoyed a fulfilling career as a dairy farmer, contributing significantly to the agricultural community. He was a beloved father to his three children: Marcus Lynn Keith, Brian Scott Keith, and Kristina Ann Keith Hughes. A proud grandfather of five and a great-grandfather to three, Gary's legacy will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
Gary was preceded in death by his brother, Leon Keith
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to all who have offered their condolences and support during this difficult time.
Gary Lynn Keith will be dearly missed but fondly remembered for his kindness, dedication, and the joy he brought to everyone who knew him.
