Gary Richard Knopp, 86, of Vienna, passed away peacefully at Charleston Area Memorial Hospital. He was born April 19, 1939 in Gay, WV., a son of the late Richard “Jim” and Laurada Parsons Knopp.

He leaves behind his children, Perry Knopp (Susan), Gayla Metz, Kurt Knopp (Kendra), and Kevin Knopp(Stacie); his siblings, Leon Knopp (Judy), Paula Righter (Jim), and Danny Knopp (Judy); sisters-in-law, Cherie and Val Knopp; 13 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife, Jacqueline Pratt Knopp; and siblings, Hayward “Gene,” Lionel, and Terry Knopp.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 9, 2025 at Lambert Tatman Funeral Home, Pike St., South Parkersburg. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Family will accept friends and family from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.
