Gary Leonard Knowles, 69, of Atchison, Kansas died February 21, 2025, at Medicalodge of Atchison.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM, Thursday, February 27, 2025, at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home, with Pastor Mary Long officiating the service. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Atchison, Kansas. Visitation with the family will be the day for the service from 1-2PM. Memorials are suggested to Cerebral Palsy or Final Expense. Condolences can be left online at www.beckerdyer.com.
Gary was born on November 23, 1955, in Atchison, Kansas, the son of Phillip and Viola (Viles) Knowles. He enjoyed playing cards and socializing with anyone he encountered. He is described as a sweet kindhearted man by his family.
Gary is survived by his siblings, Jeanne (Burt) Burton, Tom (Susan) Knowles, Deb (Ron) Welch, Gail Sanders, Carol Knowles, Mary Waring, Stacy Servaes, Robert (Karen) Knowles, Roger (Kristine) Knowles, Jackie (Leroy) Roles, several nieces and nephews, brother-in-law, Greg Billington. He is preceded by his loving parents, siblings, Kenny Knowles, Diane Billington, and brother-in-law, James Brown.
