Gary Bert Lambert

Gary Bert Lambert passed away on July 2, 2024 at 10:15 am at Birch Pointe Health and Rehabilitation located at 3705 S. Jefferson Street, in Springfield after a long illness.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents Lee and Rosalie Lambert. He is survived by one brother, Terry Lambert of Prescott, Arizona; two nephews; two estranged Daughters in Idaho; and one adopted son, Steve Lambert of Springfield, Missouri.
Gary was born to Lee W. Lambert (alias McNeill) and Rosalie (Scott) Lambert on October 31, 1947. He graduated from Folsom High School, Folsom, California. He entered the Navy with a rank of Machinist Mate September 23, 1966 during the Vietnam War and released from active duty with an Honorable Discharge on October 1, 1968.
Gary was trained and worked for Chicago Bridge and Iron in Chicago, IL. He was a Bail Bondsman for a time. He lived in Seymour, Missouri for many years before moving to Springfield, Missouri.
Service time will be posted when scheduled.
In lieu of flowers, donations in the name of the deceased can be made to Parkinson's Foundation.
His care has been entrusted to Walnut Lawn Funeral Home, Ltd. DeGraffenreid-Wood Crematory.
