Gary Joe Langford, age 56, of Harrogate, Tennessee, passed away peacefully in the arms of his loving wife on Wednesday, October 22nd, 2025.
Gary was a devoted Christian, husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed fishing and antique cars. He was a hard worker and loved his family passionately. He spent many years studying the Bible and had a beautiful testimony. He touched the lives of many with his kindness and generosity and will be greatly missed.
Awaiting Gary’s arrival in heaven are his parents, Fred and Arlene Langford; his brother, Virgil U.G. Langford; and his nephew, Travis Crockett.
His love and memory will continue through his wife of 25 years, Jessica (Nikki) Langford; his children, Amber and Mark Woods, Dalton Langford, and Josie and Nate Cupp; and grandchildren, Reid, Xander, Evangeline, Kelton, Grayson, Chloe, and Natalie.
Special family members include his sister, Phyllis (and husband, Mark) Crockett, who played a great role in shaping Gary’s life; father in law, Harold Cody; nieces, Marquette (Michael) Crockett, Felicia (Josh) Crockett, and Samantha Langford; nephews, Steven Raymond and Dustin Raymond; and great nieces and nephew, Madelaine Collett, Mary Ava Newton, and Patrick Newton; and chosen brothers, Russell Cosby and Ken Wilson.
Graveside services will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at the Forge Ridge Cemetery with Rev. Jason Hunter presiding. Music will be provided by the Friendship Missionary Batist Church. Pallbearers will be Nathan Cupp, Mark Woods, Trey Epperson, Dalton Langford, Hannah Parish and Steven Raymond. Honorary Pallbearers will be Mark Crockett, Harold Cody, and Russell Cosby.
