Gary Thomas "Spot" Lassabe

Gary Thomas Lassabe, known as "Spot," of Pass Christian, MS, was born on July 16, 1964, in Gulfport, Mississippi, and passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2026, in Pass Christian, Mississippi. He lived a fulfilling life as a Heavy Equipment Operator with the Harrison County Road Department where his dedication to hard work were recognized by his colleagues and the community.

A proud high school graduate, Gary also had a passion for antique vehicles, which became a significant part of his life. He loved spending time with friends and family, always bringing laughter and smiles to everyone he encountered. His warm personality and infectious enthusiasm made him a beloved figure in the lives of many.

Gary is survived by his two brothers, Curtis Edmond Lassabe, Jr. and his wife Sheila, and Clyde Lassabe, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other loving family members and friends who cherished him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his father, Curtis Edmond Lassabe, Sr., and his mother, Mary Margaret Pavolini.

In honor of Gary's life and his love for antique vehicles, all are welcome to a Memorial Gathering on Saturday, March 14, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Clyde's residence, 19266 Frontier Rd, Saucier, MS 39574. The family encourages attendees to bring antique cars, as they will have Gary's truck on display to celebrate his passions and the joy he brought to those around him.
