Gary Lawrance Obituary
Gary D. Lawrance, 66, of Columbia, SC, passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2024. Born on October 22, 1957, in Columbia, SC, he was the son of the late Nona Lucas and Thomas Moore Lawrance.
Gary was a highly skilled woodworker, loved the outdoors, was a wonderful chef, a passionate hunter, and loved spending time with his close friends and family, especially his grandchildren whom he loved dearly.
Gary is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jody Lawrance.
Gary is survived by his siblings, Beth Lawrance and Lynn Kisling; son, William Lucas Lawrance; daughter, Katie West (Gary); and his beloved grandchildren, Henry Dean West and Thomas James West.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 10, 2024, for a drop-in service from 1:00 pm-3:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the South Carolina Wildlife Federation, https://www.scwf.org/donate.
