Gary Lee Leach, the son of Roger and Betty (Moore) Leach, was born on October 29, 1951, in Estherville, Iowa. He entered eternal rest on May 14, 2024, at the Valley Vue Care Center in Armstrong, Iowa at the age of 72 years.
Gary graduated Armstrong High School before attending Sheldon Vo Tech for Electrical and Electronics. After college he began working for Art's Way and Weigh Tronix, and Kahler Automation. He retired in 2018.
He was the Vice President of the Board for ABC Murphy Management and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.
Gary always enjoyed reading to his children and grandchildren, history, and short stories.
Gary is survived by his children, Amy (Nathan) Pierce, Grimes, IA, and David (Kristina) Leach, St. Peter, MN; his grandchildren, Bennett and Cameron Pierce and Olivia Leach; siblings, William Leach, Estherville, Don (Joyce) Leach, Armstrong, Gail (Lawrence) Heyn, Swea City, and Larry (Sue) Leach, Armstrong.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roger and Betty (Moore) Leach.
